  • NEWBIE here, Clubs in Stoke on Trent area please PLUS any tips on how to fly!!

Hi, I am very new to this and have done some homework and have started on the coaxial route first by getting a
    DX6i
    Phoenix 3
    Lama 5 also
    Century UK Spirit
    Century UK Razor CX
    Honeybee CP2

What I need now is a club local to me in the ST6 area of Stoke on Trent, I don't mind driving but not too far as I do struggle with my back after fracturing it in 3 places (tell you what, I'll never go those 3 places again hahaha) amongst other multiple injuries I got a few years ago which sadly keeps me at home.

I do go on the sim but not as much as I should but do struggle a bit with the setup on the DX6i as the screen says its not connected but it's got the DX there but not configured properly as the throttle is back to front, power is the wrong way round, up is off down is full power !!!

Also like so many comments are true, outside is SO different to the sim and I have spent more time in the ground than in the air and so am in need of some serious help in the flying department.

    Hey, welcome to the hobby.

We fly in Winsford near junction 18 on the M6. May be a little too far for you but if you get stuck give me a shout.

I believe there is also a helicopter club in Crewe.... not sure where though.

Might be able to make the Sunday... however if the weather picks up towards the end of the week I might take Friday off instead...
