Just a heads up on spares. I have used this guy a few times he is cheap and reliable

RAPTOR 50 TITAN V2 ENGINE MOUNTING items in Eddies Heli-Bitz store on eBay!

+1 to that, I've used him for my engine, mount, fan & clutch, complete tail unit with belt...all have been exactly as described.

I also use Quality Radio Controlled Helicopter Spares at Discounted Prices as his prices are pretty good.

guess who just got himself a brand new raptor only been flown once. bought it from a model shop that does mainly cars they took it in part exchange for something its got everything all servos gyro engine and pipe and radio just need fuel and a starter. all for 200 quid. cant wait to get it. can still get a bargain on ebay once in a while

Our Rappy is serving the family well. Very happy with it.
My 2 boys through the gauntlet in yesterday and asked why don't you have a go instead of just building and repairing them for us.
How could I refuse a challenge like that.
So on spooling the rappy up there was this horrible screaching noise I don't mind saying I cacked myself anyway it turns out that the clear film on the wooden blades had come away at the tip of the blade so no hovering for me.
Absolutely gutted
anyone recommend any cheap carbons for a rappy.

i wouldnt bother with carbons for learning i use grp i get from eddie 1293 aka eddieshelibitz on ebay there £24.99 +pp but there good blades but you could have still flow the heli with the plastic cover removed off the woodies you just need to rebalance them
