Did you know that Futaba Servo's have a flange sticking out of their connector and JR servo types don't ?
I didn't. Last night I went to connect my futaba servo's to my Spektrum RX and found they didn't fit because of the flange. I was about to go nuts and go on-line looking for a flange to no-flange connector when Ade, Woody and Daytrader told me (well Ade was in there first
) that apparently you simply snip the flange off !!!
The white wire is signal and you stick in in and try it both ways until one works.
Thanks guys for the information.....
As for the RC industry ..... STOP BEING RETARDED !!!! standardise your connections (Batteries as well) NO-ONE is going to choose 'X' receiver over 'Y' receiver because of a plastic flange you snip off. Or buy a battery or not because of the connector.
SERVE YOUR CLIENT BASE DON'T P!SS THEM OFF.
sorry guys had to get that out but...seriously ... manufaturers are being bloody stupid.
