Okay, I don't even know what a lump hammer is so this could be a joke?!

nope, no joke. Just a really big hammer... (it's called gentle persuasion!! - more seriously it's a term of phrase and I can't really recommend a hammer anywhere near a heli but it's yours to do as you please with!)

if you have got a set of digital scales that can measure a couple of grams accurately, bust them out. You'll be amazed at home much the blades can differ in weight. If you have a selection of them try to find a matched pair. If not use strips of sellotape on the underside of the blade to get equal weight.

oh and for the record, there is a comment above about saying 'lift the heli a couple of inches off the ground, check it, land it, trim it.'

I'd disagree that a couple of inches is sufficient due to ground effect, and suggest you move at least a foot off the ground.

            Sorry.

Lump hammer is a really big hammer.

A sledge hammer will also do the trick

I might be a newbie, but I'm not that green! I have a feeling the blades might have been out of balance possibly, although i did do the cup trick.

Off home now to charge and play, then out for some much needed beer with my girlfriend who I think is feeling rather neglected since I get my heli, oh well she'll just have to get use to it
