    hello all,
never been on a forum before and was wondering if anyone could help.
my son has an i heli T38 infra red 3ch and he or should i say i have lost the
usb charging lead!! my cousin is the enthusiast in the family although we both were
pro industrial modellers many moons ago..-he bought this as a gift for my son..
should i shut up ... spend the £30 on a replacement and leave you all in peace?! lol

Heya and welcome to the forum... As for leaving us alone we are a friendly bunch , honest lol...

Personally have a look on some of the bigger named suppliers on here and see if theres something else he could have as TBH paying £30 on a lead is a bit much. You will probably find something for some more outlay that has better backup and support as well

hello finster welcome to forum , get an old usb lead of anything laying round , find a plug that fits into charging socket on the heli and make up a lead free ish , hardest part will be finding a plug but if you have a maplin close by they will help ya with plug , the usb lead is red n black are 5v posi and negative or alternativly find a small transformer with 5v output , again maplin will help with this .

Hi guys thanks for the replies !
The whole heli kit retails normally for around the £30 Mike but a point well made - I may look around for something else ... Meantime good point mag lite I'm not adverse to the old soldering iron so a trip to maplins it might be ! Still gutted I've misplaced it !
Have various adapters around ( I'm a muso) so wish me luck ...
You can buy some spares for this heli ( great first time fun btw !) but can't believe you can't get hold of the USB lead and since it's not captive on the controller it would probably get misplaced by anyone
          Thanks again guys

            Hi There,

I have a couple of these little IR coaxials sitting gathering dust I am sure I have the leads still. Drop me a PM with your details and I will send them on.
