    Hi

Im fairly new to helicopters bug so I may not be the best to offer any help.

I recently bought a 2nd hand Msr and a new Msrx and the Msrx is far more 'lively' than the Msr.

I set up on standard settings on my DX8 but one thing to check is that headlinks are connected on the short swashplate bars rather than the long swashplate bars. The short bars should make it less 'aggresive' if I have the correct understanding

Mine came connected out of the box to the longer ones where the shorter ones are better to start off with

    I hope this helps

Agree with above, make sure the links are on the shorter pegs on the swash plate - be careful how you pop them off and put them on, the peg is fragile!
If it's still too lively go into the Rates menu and lower rates on Aileron and Elevator, this should tame it a bit - you could also put some expo in to make movement of the stick smoother around mid stick.
Gravity is your best and worst friend!
