  • Having troubles with my new RC helicopter

I'm completely new to the world of RC helicopters and I was recently bought a GS Hobby GS370. I took it out for its first outing yesterday and whilst I can make it hover and turn from side to side, it will not go forward or backward. With the stick pushed fully forward or backward, I get at most the occasional dip or raising of the nose, which never lasts for more than a second. I've tried altering the sensitivity of the controller from 20% all the way up to 100% but it seems to make no difference. There was a light breeze and the helicopter just kept drifting away on the wind.

Does anyone have any ideas what I may be doing wrong or what the problem may be?

    Many thanks

The tail motor controls the forward/backward movement on this heli. Is the motor running when you try to move backwards? Loose connection maybe? This heli won't be very good in the wind as its a coaxial so don't expect miracles. Does it fly inside okay?
