I owned an ESky Honey bee and got addicted (like we all are ) so crappy micros aren't necessarily all bad.

If I had my time again though.... I think I'd do Blade CX 2 then probably second hand 50 sized.

Ahhhhh a non-heli related question on what to spend 130GBP on.....
I would thoroughly recommend an hour with 'Rosa' from Newcastle. Very kinky and experienced and thoroughly good fun.

-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

            And a DX8 too

                        • Regarding rcscale.co.uk - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE.

I'm currently stuck in replacement parts hell when my new kit showed problems on initial setup (sticking servo - prob tooth missing; motor caught fire!!!). Nor returns address, you have to agree to their Ts & Cs before they'll issue it. Cost of postage will probably end up exceeding cost of UK parts. I first reported the fault on Dec 26th, not Jan 8th and still no further forward. SITE IS A RIP-OFF.

                          • I wonder if JTHOMO ever bought a heli and sorted his problems?

I was given the twin helicopter kit as shown on the Gadget Show just before Christmas and totally fell in love with the fun.

Went to the model shop in Swindon on 28th December and asked for something rather expensive and difficult.

Thank goodness I told them I was an amateur as they explained that I would not have a chance and persuaded me to spend less money and I bought the Twister Hawk, which as explained on another thread I have already gone through:

                            3 sets of blades
                            Rear wheel
                            Front wheel
                            Inner shaft

Getting better at it now and have the Phoenix software arriving tomorrow. Hoping that I will get better and really looking forward to stepping up - but only when I am ready for it!

                            Regards

                            Chris
