    Full size if nitro.

Full size is my preference for helis above 450mm blade size.

I fly both and IMO flybarless is better except for landing! I hate landing it especially if the ground is not level.

Pah!! Just learn to fly them big moves with a flybar ya big girl!! lol

All this be carefull on take off & landing malarky instantly kills any thoughts of 'hmm maybe give it a try perhaps?' i ever have. I had a go on Laurences Logo & i asked & he said just take off firmly but to me it leaves you open to a nasty topple.

For learning I would go flybar.. Then aim to go flybarless when you are more accomplished. Flybar setup is more black & White and all mechanical

I have to admit, there is something nice about a good flybar setup. I used to quite enjoy it. Flying wise, my 450 Vbar is so damn good I'll never go back!

I have two Futaba flybarless helis and dont find landing or taking off any different than with the flybarred version of the same helis.
I did have an early align version that suffered with the issue and a friend has a 2nd generation (not latest version) and that still need a quick kick in the air to stop it tipping over.
Does the VBAR suffer with this issue could any one tell me please.

I think my flyings better now for having started on flybarred heli's.moving to fbl has allowed me to progress further.

I dont have any issues with taking off as ive upped my throttle curve in normal mode quite a bit,as fbl systems dont like low head speeds.Ive also started doing autos every landing which has ruled out tipping over while setting down. (and opened me up for an expensive crash when i get it wrong

As for landing, ground behavior and taking off I find this varies a lot depending on the flybarless system. Align's is very, very touchy it seems. V-Bar is the same as flybar, but then again I never really gave full input with flybar when the head is spinning on the ground!

I don't find the Vbar any different to flybar on take off and landing, I treat it the same and give input the same.
