Cool vid, I use blue loctite on everything, head as well, never had any problems, but thats on my cheap heli :-)
I did do some work on my new one the other day ( T-Rex ) so I am thinking of getting some red for the head as I used blue on that as well , I would be a very upset bunny if my new heli crsahed cos of just using blue on the head.
Thanks for the vid m8 :-)

red loctite is a waste of time on a heli. blue is more than sufficient on any heli.

      cheers

I'm with Paul here, I don't think I have seen anyone use red on an Heli, there's really no need for it

I've always used blue and not had any failures yet (touch wood).

I use red on the head on the big helis. Might not be needed but I'd rather be safe.

Use nothin but blue and even that's a PITA to undo sometimes and I have to apply heat.

I was constantly having to dremel screws when I used red so sticking with blue.

I was just about to comment... the worst thing you can do is follow all the advice you get on the internet
Red loctite won't get anywhere near my helis, period.

I can only second that, but if someone wants, then why not .
Also, most of the time if you have a good quality big bolts on a electric heli, loctite is not needed at all, like for frame bolts. It is needed on smaller helis with all these 1 mm bolts though.

i never use red but on critical bits such as the head i may use a blue with a touch of red i.e 4 to 1 ratio then its tougher but not impossible to remove

It's definitely needed on a nitro that's for sure
