    Hi,
I have disided I want to get a RC helicopter, beceause I am new to fly I think I need a fixed pitch. I have looked at the ESky Honey Bee, I like this one or are there any other models I should look at? Any advise welcome.

blade cx2.... MOST! on here suggest that, it is in my opinion the best learning tool....it simply flies well, unlike some of the cheap (single rotor) fixed pitch and cheap cp heli's

    cheers,
    Tom

      I'll second Tom's advice.
I don't own one but have flown them in the local shop.
I'm thinking of getting one to practice orientations with.
      And annoy the cat.

Twister Medivac is great for buzzing round indoors and getting the hang of the sticks!

im at the point now wher i torment the dog (German Shepherd) with mine,
low passes and ciruits above her, thing is she is big enough and stuoopid enough to jump up, catch it and run of with it LOL

(for all them animal lovers out there, she runs off with it long befor it could ever hurt her)

good job they are cheap enough to repair! LOL

Get one thery are so much fun!
            (OUTSTANDING!)
(yer its old but what a mchine)

For the love of god DON'T buy an E-Sky Honey Bee
Rather take the cash and save for a better Heli
The Honey Bee. breaks if you look at it too hard. (Personal experience)
                For a first Heli buy a CX2.

                    never heard of a mash.

lama v3 is similar to the cx2 and twister medivac/bell 47 and will do the job. never seen or flown one but havnt heard any bad comments on it.

                    cheers,
                    Tom

                        the mash is the medevac

it can be bought at most local hobby shops (cheaper than here) it runs the same mechanical bits as a cx2 but doesn't have 2.4ghz hence the cheaper price

do a search on youtube for "RC mash helicopter" it is anice model slightly bigger than lama v3 these guys sell it ring them to find a store near youself http://www.hobbystores.co.uk/ i was going to buy it but decided on a lama v3 as i got a good deal from hong kong through ebay. Its funny how no one on this forum has heard of the mash copter or the easycopter a trainers. The mash is the same one from the american tv serial "M.A.S.H"

What ever you do......think very hard about getting 'phoenix', I am just starting out and took the advice on here about 'phoenix' it is brilliant, you can f'ly' a lot of heli's.It will be the best £90 quid you will spend!!
