There has been a few on ebay and a nice one on the bmfa classifieds recently. They seem to be going for £325 upwards depending on what comes with it.
This one seems goodSAB Goblin 700C - Black Nitro

If you bought that one you could sell the futaba radio gear and then buy a spektrum receiver and sat to work with your transmitter. It comes with a lot of spares, batteries and a charger to get you in the air.SAB Goblin 700C - Black Nitro

Sorry but that just not true. Sure, it's no stick banging 3d machine but it's perfectly fine to learn with. I learnt to hover in all orientations with a v1 Honeybee and then used it at the field a lot too.Originally posted by james and View Postjust posted a new thread about the honeybee v2 been told its no good to learn on just been for a fly and binned into the ground going to fix it up and sell it . but it leaves me with just one( trex 100s , so can any one please tell wot i should get next , i have a dx7 waiting for my next heli ( ps just want to get fly )
What you want for learning is something cheap so that it doesn't break the bank and worse still, put you off the hobby altogether. I am not saying it's perfect but they are fine to learn with. A 500 is fine but the downsides are the costs of crashes and setup, although you will need to learn the latter at somepoint.
I used to bounce my honeybee all over the place, most times, straighten out the blades and off you go again.Field of Doom Flight Club - Founding Member, regular contributor!

I'd say a 500 size would be perfect for starting. Very stable. Thats the route I took.
