Started my build

Opened up the boxes and started the build this evening .... its gonna be a slow but careful job since i only have a couple of hours here and there so i expect it to take me weeks

Did the head and swashplate tonight, some balls/bolts threadlocked, some not ... thrust bearings not greased but bolts threadlocked

In the end my shopping list was:

• Trex 450 Pro v2 3GX (sold 3GX unit on)
• Spektrum AR7200BX FBL controller/receiver
• Gorilla gear skids & KBDD tail blades in Orange for visibility
• MHS Protos bearings to replace in tail
• 4x Overlander 2200mah 25C batteries

Not bloody likely... took me 40 minutes just to do the head and swash ....
Only item in box even remotely pre-built was head and i've re-done that ... everything else is in small bags
Need to pick up some fine grit sand paper and go over the frame edges at the weekend too - rough as owt

Finished the build .... amazing it took me this amount of time ... was thinking i'd be at this for weeks/months but it went together really well

Don't know if i'll be well enough to go to the club tonight though and get the chaps to help check / test fly but we'll have to see
