Take a look at this Helifreak thread as regard settings , I would set your swash up by eye, just look at it from the front and the side when have your Tx switched on and battery connected, there should be no tilting when looked at from both angles.

There is a chance that the swashplate may be worn, so the alloy swash would be a good upgrade.

Hi there, just a newbie myself but i did nothing special to set my DX6i to my 120SR! Literally plugged in the flight pack and while the LED flashed away switched on the Tx while holding the trainer switch, only took a second to Bind. All controls seemed to work better sharper response than on the Tx that came with my RTF 120.

Hi, yes but!! very twitchy, the slightest breeze and she is quite a handful but then again in this weather it's to be expected. Inside it is absolutely steady and gives a real feeling of confidence.

Make sure when you plug the battery on that you put it down quickly on a flat surface for the gyro to initialize; otherwise you will have issues.
A FP heli will always drift off on take off to the left and you will need some right aileron to keep it straight when taking off.
Check all your tirms are neutral and adjust swash by eye as already mentioned. Cant use a swash tool on FP helis.

You can only really check the swash is level on the 120 SR by eye.

Make sure both servos are moving when you give it input.

Make sure your trims (sub trims) are neutral.

Make sure you have the heli bound to the tx correctly.

Just a thought, maybe you could start a new model on your transmitter, and re-bind the heli to that one instead, might work ..
