    hello
I have dug out the old big boys toys from around the house and thought it might be a good time to re-use them. in 1994 i used to fly a concept 30 dx heli and still have it now. it was in very good condition for a old model and only got broken canopy the other week by one someone. I also have a concept 60 SR in very good condition but i never got to fly this as it had no servo's or gyro. So my idea was short lived when i when to a model shop today as i was told to sell them for spares as spares are not about to replace any damage that i might do when flying these hlei's. I was told that my JR 2610 tranmitter is not any good and that no one uses JR stuff in and around essex.
should i sell my old concept heli's and by a new one or fly them and try and get spares as and when i need them.
what is the most popular heli to buy now and the best for back up with spares.
what is a good value for money gyro that i can use if i wanted to fly my concept 60
lots of silly questions but when i was 1st flying in 1994 there wasnt as much of a choice !

    hope someone will help

No one uses JR stuff in Essex ?? ... I doubt that

I suppose the most popular helis are the Align TRex helis (Trex 450/500/550/600), but they don't come cheap mind, you'll also need a new computer transmitter (DX6i/DX7).

If it were me, I'll sell the old heli's and buy a new one, that way you can start from scratch, and be up-to-date with the equipment.

Anyway, browse around online, there are a lot more brands than just Align, to name a few, Blade, Eflite, Mikado, Compass, Gaui, Thunder Tiger .. etc
