So I am feeling more confident with the Heli now. As you can see, it was breezy. I am confident enough to use the rudder more now and I am making the Heli come to me rather than stopping it and replacing it.

I felt confident enough to hover it in the small space that you can see. I was hovering into wind, i also tried tail into wind, which, amazingly I found easier.

Looks pretty good to me, although you really need to lift it a little higher now - say a couple of feet; it will get easier as you get out of the ground effect created being that low. Nice motor btw

Thanks mate, yeah I will be getting higher on next flight, I did not feel comfortable in that confined space.

Well done,
No training gear! starting as you mean to go on, at least you won't have the heart stopping panic i had on the my first flight when i finally removed the training gear!
As Jamie says, going a little higher will make the heli more stable, as there is no ground effect, but one step at a time.

Your catching it quicker when your correcting. I think when your at the field next take it higher like people are suggesting. But only if you feel comfortable!

looking good,like everybody else says,a little bit higher,id stick the canopy on as well,get used of it the way you are gong to be flying it,looks better with canopy as well

Yeah, the movement does not seem to scare me any more. I feel I can correct when i need to.

I think I need to bite the bullet and get a 500 soon, there's only so much you can do on the SIM.
