  • Batteries and Charging

Okay so I have my Accucel 6 and charging harness and 6 nano-tech batteries for MCPX.

Can I just run this by you folk to make sure I understand the basics of lipo charging on a proper charger...

These are 300mah 1s batteries, that means .3a each, right? So if I charge on the Accucel 6 at 1.8a (1c?) it takes all 6 an hour to charge?

The next jump is the .6a (2c?) (3.6a for 6) and should take 30 minutes to charge? So if I go in the middle to preserve the battery life I'm looking approx 45 min for all 6 batteries, at 2.4a 3.7v?

I've been reading everything I can online and can't seem to find concise write ups, so just want to double check with those in the know.

Sounds right to me but I don't know the charger. I assume you set the charger for all cells.

Charging in parallel, setting the charger for 1s. As long as they don't all blow up and are charged eventually, I'm happy :-)
