  • This Is What My £400 Bought Me

    Just got it today. Very pleased. One slight bit of damage on one of the main blades. not sure if that's going to be an issue?

    Not bad at all. Defintely wouldn't be using those blades!

      Out of curiosity, where did you get it from? Personally I wouldn't use those blades - damage on the leading edge of the blade is a very bad thing, as the air can easily rip them open.

        good buy i think,id change the blades for sure,no point taking a chance,i was gonna ask what servos you are running but it doesnt matter as even if the were cheapest of the cheap i still think you done well

            with damage to the blade i'd have a good look at the shafts to make sure there not bent

              It was a private purchase from this site. My last action before ordering a Blade 450 was checking the for sale section here. I was a lucky boy

                  Wow!! Thats a lot for £400 Got a good deal there mate,, definitely chuck those blades as far away as possible and check main shaft and feathering spindle will your at it,, Servos look like hitec,would possibly change metal arms for plastic though as it's easier for that to break rather than the servo in a crash.

                    i would just go with the 430 aligns for it at the moment,once you get more confident with it you might want to try some differant brands,i like raddix but unnecassary expence for my level of flying..lol..

                        Thanks mate, I will get those ordered, although I have a good few hours on the sim first before it goes in the air I had a look on heliguy at they quote HG Main Blade 425mm (carbon fibre) £19
