I've had the MCPX a week now, weather has been pants so every evening hover practice, nose in, side in, then on to the sim.
Today the wind is gone and the sun is out so first thing I went out and flew 3 batteries through MCPX in a field (only have 3 right now, waiting for 6 turnigy's from HobbyKing). After the first I went to the high rates and wow, what a helicopter. This thing shifts!
Managed to get some fast circuits with timid banked turns in, tried to keep a figure 8 but it looked a lot worse than I can do on the sim haha so just went back to zipping around and getting used to the new rates.
Going to make a brew, charge the batteries and head back outside. Damn I wish I had more batteries!
