Just reread your post and saw the Phoeninx is your dad's? so is he into helis as well? if so surely he can help advise you?

My brother bought my dad an rc plane in the summer and my dad has bought the pheonix to learn to fly it so unfortunately he's as in the dark as me. We haven't got a pc, (the boss wanted an I pad) so can't go the sim route unless I'm at my dads.
