  • Let's try here so here goes, HI EVERYONE IN NEW

Hi my name is Ricki hogan

Short story about me I am 22 years of age and I didn't know I could fly And started the hardest way possible I think my first ever helicopter was a blade 400 3d and I can't tell you the amount of time I spent in the shop buying parts for it but after a while I thought this isn't the right way to do it so I stopped for about a yet then went to USA for my dads funeral and he had baughte a mcpx to fly and I started flying that and to begin with I thought this is impossible but after a week of constant crashing I finally learned that smooth is better another week went past and I did my first back flip with it and it landed in my face hurt a little and after that I learned to fly a long long way away from my own parson and got really good at it then I went back to my nemesis the blade 400 and I flew if great so great in fact I thought I was dreaming and I have just baught a blade cp sr and I love it it's very tail unstable but I still like it haven't crashed it yet I want to get you to help me and have a friendly chat and to get to know you all so please feel free to talk to me about everything

    Best regards
    Ricki

Hey Ricki, welcome to the forum. Lots of advice here and a great place to hang out. I don't know so much about the blade nor the sr but ask away and I'm sure you'll get more answers than you can shake a stick at

        Hi Ricki

Rather than the 250, consider a 450...they are so much more stable and nicer to fly. Good luck mate and welcome - you will find loads of help on here.

Welcome to the forum I have both the mcp x good fun & also have B400 that I've had for number of years now growing dust & now & then take for a spin to polish the dust off so still a good heli for learning as parts are that much cheaper, the 250se is another fun heli if you setup right & theirs many a post on here to learn from or feel free to ask.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

As your in high Wycombe it's probably worth taking a trip to Skyline models and take a close up look at the 250 and 450 sport models. Both awesome heli's although the 450 would probably be most beneficial for you.
There's a number of clubs not far from you aswell have fun!

hi & welcome the 250 is great to learn on but it has to be setup well and once you can do that its realy a fun heli to learn on,just got rid of my training gear after 6 months. got limited space so the 250 suits me (found fxed pitch too frustrating)...mick

i found the 250 a real pain when i had one, too fiddly to repair and the screws round off easily if your not very carefull. id suggest the 450 would be better for you but just tame it down a little.

It depends on your budget but a DX6i is an excellent start.

If your looking for a tx with all the similar features but nicer looking then the DX8 is excellent - but depends on your budgets really!
