Can some one explain

Not to sure if this is in the right place but can someone explain what the following mean

Elevator Trim

Aileron Trim

Rudder Trim

Throttle Trim

Yes you have guessed there off a Tx but i want to know what they do and if you adjust them what it means

I know its a real newbie question but you all learn somewhere

the Trim on the transmiter is a way of slightly changing the centre of movment. as an example if the heli rolls to the left all the time when flying a little right trim will even it up so that it will fly straight.

There is an exception to this in that is you are using most (not sure if all) flybarless units then trim can actually updet them and they should all be left central, as should the tail trim when using a heading lock gyro.

The throttle trim is usually used to set the idle speed of the engine.

The trim moves the servo a small amount left or right so that the servo is in the position that you want for normal flight. The elevator trim for instance will allow you to stop the heli moving backwards or forwards when the stick is in the centre.

Ah ok but what does the things in bold mean i have read alot of post with and dont understand :S

Aileron is the servos that control the bodily movement of the helicopter left or right. IE the roll of the helicopter. The elevator controls the bodily tilt of the helicopter forward and back and the rudder the rotation of the helicopter.

Elevator is pitch (not to confused with collective pitch) - basically nose up or down

Trim is a fine adjustment. Say the model is tipping to one side all the time. Rather than holding an input constantly to correct, you add trim (using the little sliders next to the sticks) so offset the controls slightly.
