Milestone Moment

Having gotten reasonably confident hovering tail in inside I took my MCPX outside today to fly in a large field free from the solid objects my heli seems inexplicably drawn to. I started off flying left to right, stopping, turning around and flying back and gradually got better and better at it, oddly the challenge seems to be doing it slowly rather than fast. At the end of the day I managed to fly in some crude circuits.

Still got a long way to go but today it felt like I was flying rather than chasing the damm thing all over the field and the milestone moment, it came back home in the same number of pieces it left in.

Well done, Dave. I'm looking forward to that moment. I'm semi-chasing at the moment. If it escapes me I'm getting better at bringing it back to land it and continue my practice.

Thanks Vikki, been laughing my ass of reading of your trials and tribulations I went down exactly the same path not so long ago and a friend of mine at work bought himself a SR120 for Christmas and is doing exactly the same.
