I posted this in the blade 400 thread but got no replies.

I bought one of these for my Blade 400 3D

When i went to fit it i realised that the holes with the rubber grommets were not going to reach where they were supposed to. I removed the battery and tried and still it was miles off. The little tongue on the underside that slots into the space above the front skid was miles away from where it should be too. To make this work I will have to drill 2 more holes for the top mount and fashion some different way for the tongue to slot into something i fabricate a bit further forward. Is it right that i should do this? The description on Fast Lad's website says it is suitable for the Blade 400 3D so why does it not fit out of the box?
