  • Advice on Esky Lama V3

Hi, as being new to the hobby, i purchased a Lama V3 helicopter, soon i upgraded to all metal parts then the xtreme body kit.
My question is, when fitting the carbon tail boom to the helicopter body, what they supply in the kit , is a piece of double sided tape that you wrap around and push the carbon shaft home, same for tail, has anyone done this and found it works loose. Would it be better to apply a small amount of araldite to make solid ?
Also the tail boom support bars, they are a loose fit in the little cups supplied, would these also be better to be glued ?
    Any advice much appreciated
    Paul .

Yes to the boom supports, and it's personal choice on the boom. I don't see any harm in glueing it. I seriously doubt you'll break it unless you fly into something hard backwards at speed.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Thanks for your advice, i was afraid of loosing the boom supports as they seem a rather loose fitting etc.
      Cheers Paul.
