  • DX6i and Pheonix Question

    Hi All (again),

Can you tell me how to set up my TX to use Pheonix, I have callibrated it but when I power up it always leans over before taking off.

Do i need to adjust the settings on the TX so that it is set up for Pheonix?

    Thanks inadvance folks!

Just create a new profile on the TX for phoenix specifically for it. I have it on model 8 and its called PNIX.

You should have a blank sheet of settings for it. Then calibrate your TX.

All should just work really. The only thing you need to do after calibration is set your throttle and pitch curves (Specifically 100% across the board for stunt mode to work when u flick the F Mode switch on the DX6)

All helis lean left a little on takeoff but shouldnt need too much corrective action... How bad a lean are we talking?

I used a video to setup a DX6i to phoenix on youtube. Seems to work fine. I was blaming my hovering skills on the setup until i realised that all heli's fly this way due to tail and main rota spin.
