What does CP mean?

I always hear people say if they're gonna buy rc heli for outdoors then they should buy CP. What does that mean?

it means collective pitch,generally a 6ch rc heli,fixed pitch rely on the varieing speed of the rotor to create lift,with collective pitch you can have your heli at 100%throttle without it leaving the ground,the angle of the blades change with your collective input to create lift.you can generally setup a cp heli to hav -12-+12 degrees pitch
