Leatherhead anyone?

I kwon there is box hill club at my door step my due my work shift there is not point for me to join it.
I was wondering if there is someone from my same area to help me out or even have some flights together.

What days / times are your shifts? One club that is very cheap to join is Epsom Downs. Flying there is
from noon till sundown 7 days a week unless there is a race event going on. One drawback though is
that you need an A cert to fly solo or another club member that has their A cert has to stand with you
when you fly, but getting the A is pretty easy really.

Thanks trillian is on rota basis so it does change. I don't drive is it far from the train station? I know there is the train from leatherhead stops at Epson, are there anyone in the weekdays?

It's a short walk from Tattenham corner. I was over there on Monday. There is a small group of regulars
that fly there on weekdays. I used to see the same 5 or 6 guys out there, mostly fixed-wing. I had
not been over there for probably 6 months but I don't think it has changed. It's only a tenner to join
so it's worth having it as an option even if you don't fly there very much.
