Today while having my midday flight I decided in all my wisdom to fly with a bass humping 80's Funk track playing in the background, (Act Like You Know-Fat Larry's Band)

And after a few seconds of getting a bit carried away she came hurtling straight for me, I banked reversed her flying heading but it wasn't enough, to much speed not enough time to rota air break, so in my wisdom I caught her in mid air, had two blades break on my wrist, and then the sharp lower blade came round for a second go and gave me a right royal cut.

Moral here is don't disco dance your heli while listening to a hot track..

All's well, replaced the blades and after five minutes she was back up (without a backing track).

But flying to music is cool

Maybe your little heli took offence at the track choice

Ive only had one heli hurtle itself at me, my Trex 450.

and no I didnt try to catch it. I dived out of its way as it came past I did manage to save it from hitting the deck that time.

its happend to me with the bell 47 but i actually managed to catch it on the skids!!

Ohh just to say I had a good ole dance flight to the SOS Band - Groovin', and not a single broken blade, plus a nice soft landing after getting cramp in my Thumbs.
