    Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Just got in to heli's after the wife bought me a little Syma co-axial heli on boxing day, after flying this little 3 channel heli I decided to get myself a 4 channel heli to learn on so have purchased an excell 200. Really enjoying learning to fly & really want a bigger heli but am resisting as i need to learn to control the excell first.

    Welcome wonk,

I would suggest you try and get a decent tranmitter and a flight sim. most users on this forum use phoenix. I know it can be an expensive investment but if you want to practice without having to pay out for crash repairs i will end up costing you alot less.

      Thanks Soggy
Im trying to decide wether to get a flight sim as i have got a Imac. I do have an older laptop or pc but dont know if they are good enough to run the sim, also thinking about getting a controller so can just look at bnf helis, i was looking at the DX6i, but just read may be better to get a DX7, so many choices, i would like to get a bigger heli so just dont know what to do first, lol

      Regards
      Nigel (Wonk)
