  • Setting Expo on the DX7

So how do I do this? as I understand it I add expo to the radio to slow the travel at center stick therby reducing the response or 'twitcyness' of the heli, yes?

I need to add some for my EP100 so that tiny movements right a center stick does not make it zoom off allover the place.

I need expo on the elevator and aerolon I think.

    Regards

go in to the menu and go to the [D/R & EXP] screeen. then select the control you want to add expo to, then put +20% or whatever you want next to the EXP. The Ail and Exp switches are used to switch it on and off (or just set it to +20% in both switch directions and it will always be on).

Hi Jamiem - is 20% a good place to start then? I am setting up a T-REX 450 SE to learn on. I have the collars out by the paddles on the flybar and a pitch range of -2 to +10 on collective and +/- 6 on cyclic.

Flying on the SIM I actually find I am more comfortable with a responsive setup (I find the T-REX Sport easier to hover than the T-REX training - Phoenix SIM)

          20% is reasonable for a t-rex 450 for a beginner.
