  • Hello everyone

Hello, Just got my self a Neon blaze V3 to get into a bit of 3D flying. I have had 3 channel and 4 channel heli's and am now looking into developing my ability a bit further.

Any body know of any set up guides for this model? The instructions in the box are a bit lacking for the Tx and would like a better knowledge of the model its self too.

    Thanks

Hi its the flybar one. Thanks for the welcome.

Had a first test earlier just getting used to the throttle and what the swash plate does so i can set the trims up. Hopefully more flying time tomorrow.

there is very little you can do with the tx, i had 2 friends that had one, one of them is still alive and is ok but he changed the rx and got dx6i radio and softened down the controls, the one weak point we have found on them is they go through tail motors, i dont know what they are like doing 3d, maybe you will be able to tell me when you get there

I've been reading up and it looks like a DX6i Will be on the cards after christmas. I bought this as a starter into 6 ch/3D flying and can say I'm impressed so far but a few things might have to be upgraded metal head, upgraded rear motor and servos for metal geared ones but all in good time. Im using it like a complete beginner as I found it a lot more difficult to take off. Just learning the throttle and doing some adjustments so far to get me used to it.

Does anyone know what this is a rebadge of? I think its walker but can't seem to find it. I am trying to find a better manual or set up guide for it. Any help will be grateful.

          Thanks

rich, the one bit of advice i can offer you is to think very carefully before spending too much money on upgrading it, i recomend upgradint the swash plate as it is a bit weak, the money you are thinking of using on upgrading would be better spent on
dx6i (or better depending on funds available)
phoenix (will save you a fortune especially if you want to do 3d flying)
a different helicopter,if you get bitten by this bug you will want bigger and better, use what you have to get up and flying and enjoy it

              Hi

I've got to wait till Feb to get the DX6i and already have phoenix. Saved me a fortune. Had my first repair bill today, a grand total of £8.98, I was expecting more. I had a faulty servo and this caused the front to dip and the blades just caught the ground. I called the shop where I bought it from, took it down there and they repaired the servo replaced the blades and supplied a new fly bar for me to fit. Very happy with the service. Got home and rounded off a grub screw and broke the fly bar seat ball joint off through not paying attention hence £9. The joys. Plenty more to come.

Im eying up a Align Trex 450 sport V2 kit, but this is a long way off at the mo.

Thanks for your advice tho need all I can get
