  • phoenix flight sim for blade cx2

hi i,m after the phoenix sim for my blade cx2 to save on replacing blades lol, but which lead do i need to fit the transmitter and has any one got a phoenix sim and lead for sale?

    cheers gary.

The standard lead that comes with Phoenix works perfectly with the CX2 transmitter - just plug it into the 3.5mm jack port on the back.

As for where to get it, you may try your luck on eBay, failing that, it's still £80 well spent

          Gazzaheli

I am very new to flying heli's as well. I have a Twister 3D and \ Bell Medivac. I have crashed the bell some much I think I have rebuilt about four of them now. I have only just started taking the Twister out side and trying to hover it, but the first few times resulted in crashes.

I recently purchased the Phoenix Sim and have it set up for my Futaba 9C works great. In fact I have the 9C setup for all my flying , Sim, Bell and Twister 3D. The Difference is marked because I am not having to change from TX to TX between each model I am getting lots better much faster. I can even hover most of the SIM Heli's in Phoenix already.

The Best part of Phoenix is all the different Models you can fly, My favourite is the Hues 550N turbine jet. I am definitely going to build a real one once I am flying the twister properly.

Set up was a bit of a pain as I am not quite used to what is required yet but essentially I set up a new Heli model in the Futaba and made custom changes in the Phoenix control properties. the hardest part was working out the throttle because you have to get the pitch setting opposite to the throttle setting otherwise you get the wrong pitch with no throttle etc.

Once I worked that out I was off. have it running through my laptop to a 40 inch lcd telli, only off when Rugby is on.

I brought my copy from eBay. But I have seen the shop here has Phoenix too, and the price is the same. Only extra I needed was the Futaba cable, but I read in the thread Phoenix comes with your TX cable as standard.

          Hope this helps Dunc
