Great sessions today!

Just had a very enjoyable session with my T-Rex 450,
Nice fig 8s, some mild stall turns, but the best bit was I did loads of nose in and even landed nose in loved it. Really enjoying my flying now.

First battery I was shaking a bit but calmed myself down and went for it.

I agree with you on the Trex, fantastic Heli, well worth the money.
Had a good day myself, still just hovering but tried today in a breeze, it was nowhere near as difficult as I'd imagined.
Also takes me a battery to calm the fingers, it's a bit strange how the adrenaline affects you.
I had to land more than a few times in the first five minutes before I stuffed it with an involuntary twitch.
Sounds like you're getting on well.

Just come back from the Hop Farm. You're gonna love that tomorrow - it was soooo cool. The formation stuff was outstanding.
Only one slightly moody thing... We bought a DX7 from inwoods for a good price but realised when we got it home that it was mode1 So I'm going back tomorrow to exchange it.

Took my Raptor out to a local field today for it's first quick fly around after it's post-crash rebuild.
First thing that happened was the started motor kept on slipping, so off to the LHS for a new starter adapter thingie.
Fitted it and took it back to the field, but it just did not want to start - strange as it had started perfectly a couple of days before and nothing has changed since then. I'll get to the bottom of it!

Well i went flyin in the wind !!! Should have gone ystrday......... Twister got yet another spur gear with no teeth on it (planted the tail in some long grass (again))

Hovered the scuttle for a bit but the gyro needs a bit of work it wont heading hold at all and it kept sliping left because of the wind...

So i theught Id riun the 60 up cause it aint been run for about 6 months (chuffin pig to start again) but ran it on the deck for 2 tanks and that needs the gyro setting up properly alll it wanted to do was piro on the floor.....Its a bit of a monster to me and its a bit intimadating must set up the gyro properly and then i might hover it

Went ome early due to high wind...

I did think when I got your email this maorning that it would be too windy Steve.
I strugled big time with the trex 600e which is why I only flew once.
I would have loved to have had a go on the 60 but it was not the kind of day to be flying someone elses raptor 60 mate maybe another time
