Managed to try a couple of hovers (hops) yesterday & today, and things went quite well really. Thanks for everyone's help... especially Steve. P for the gyro tutorial.
OK then, I think I can sort out aileron and elevator trimming but I'd like some opinions on setting throttle and pitch curves. At present with throttle/coll in roughly centre (and a sort of hover
)I'm getting a head speed of about 2000 rpm. (default settings on both throttle and pitch curves). Going to 3/4 stick then revs go to around 2200... haven't tried full power. I have tried a few changes (increase) to the pitch curve at 3/4 stick, but the head speed still remains high. I can see that I need to try and get the head speed reasonably constant... I'd like a few tips please.
