The start of my T-Rex 600e CF build.... Need HELP from 600 owners

UPDATE : Getting the 600 ready last night when I discovered a small hick-up.
The batttery connector for the 600e from Aurrora (The one sold with a charger as perfect for the 600e on the website £175 for the battery and £60 for the charger) actually doesn't match the connector on the 600e itself !!!! D'OH.
C'mon guys WTF ???!!! If you're gonna advertise something as being 'ideal' for another product then at least ensure they match !!!!
Ayway thought I'd warn the rest...... Off to Maplins website for a soldering iron etc.

um, small point but the connectors on the 600 are non standard and the one on your pack is a standard deans. I swap all my connectors to deans.

If I were you I'd standardise to the connector on the pack as nearly all packs come with these on them these days.

sorry to hijeck the thread for a second, but.

Ashley I know you test alot of lipo's has there been any move AT ALL to standardise the balance plugs?

no, balance plugs are still all over the shop.....the connector being discussed here is the main power one I believe (Deans).....which has become a bit of a standard.

Hi Guys...Yes it is a Deans on the Batttery and a blue circular connector on the BEC. This seems nuts but there you go. I will be changing to deans as obviously in the future I'll be buying more batteries so don't want to solder every one of them.
