Need help with my Syma S006 Alloy Shark

I just got my first RC Helicopter a Broken Syma S006 Alloy Shark and it worked just fine at first with the little charge it had. Then i charged it for around an hour and as soon as i got it outside it wouldn't fly correctly just spin and spin faster and faster then crash into ground sideways. Then i left it for a while and now it wont respond to the remote properly. I made a video to demonstrate how it's working now(or not should i say).

..take it back to where you bought it from. Just seems to be faulty to me.

I would but i got it from ebay and all that was said when i e-mailed the seller is that spare parts are available and advice on the internet.

So i am not sure what i can do.

From the vid, it just looks as though there is a range issue, as when you bring the controller closer to the heli it spins up.

I would suggest to check that the aerial on the heli is fully extented or has not become detached

if that is fine, check that the wire has not come off the aerial on the transmitter internally.

I have checked all of that and it all seems fine, the aerial in screwed in fully and if the helicopter still spins when i have put the left stick back down or could that be caused by the range problem.

The thing i don't understand is that it worked ok the first time then started spinning out of control after the second flight then no range before 3rd flight. Is it something i have done?

Also i heard that i should have to turn on the helicopter and the controller then the LED on the controller should flash till i push up then down on the left stick and then LED solid but it doesn't flash just seems to be connected constantly, could that be something to do with the problem?

Has the heli got a aerial wire somewhere.. that should also be extended fully.

Not sure about the transmitter side of it, but is the aerial on the transmitter making proper contact with the board inside.. or does it have a wire that runs up to it...Don't force anything apart, as you probably have to return it.

Doubt many ppl have this heli on here, as it really is just a all in one very basic heli..

Is the person you bought it from in the UK? Would try and return it.. Failing that put a claim in with ebay/paypal. if he refuses to sort it out for you.

i have one and 99% of them fly sh1t . its something to do with the gyro which is hidden on the PCB . take the canopy off and you will see a small protrusion sticking out of the board which is filled a wax like substance . scrape out the wax and in there is a very small flat head screw which you need to turn fully one way then test your heli . keep turning the screw back at very small increments and test again untill she flies ok(ish). you will never get her bang tho and make sure you test indoors as they dont like flying out side . hth

I had similar problem i put cheap batt in controller so putt decent batt in all better now
