Just wondering about 2.4Ghz and 35Mhz...

I'm sitting here thinking and it dawned on me....albeit slowly..... that ... well, would I be correct in assuming the little CX2 is 2.4Ghz ? After all it doesn't have a crystal ?!
If it is .... does that mean when I get my DX7 I can fly my CX2 with it ? Also..... if i buy one of the new receiver modules for the DX7 ..... i can probably replace my eSky Tx I got for my Belt CP as well can't I ?

Umm! Thats a technical thingy wotsit!! No idea. Though does' seem to have a viable basis.

You can fly the CX2 with a DX7, look around some of the other forums for info. If you have a DX7 then there's nothing stopping you using a Spektrum receiver on your belt CP either, the AR6100 or AR6200 would do the job.

As long as the CX2 receiver has a binding connection (the outer two pins on the receiver) bind it to your TX and it'll be fine. I've seen it done before.

And the other way round! Pipistrelli on here uses a CX2 tranny to fly his other small heli's too.

Hmmmm.... i saw that binding plug thingy with the loop when it arrived...wonder what id di with it .... must buy a toolbox this weekend....desks are getting cluttered.
