  • T-Rex 450 Blades

With the SE kit, you get two sets of blades supplied. Is it best to start with the woodies or go straight for the carbons?

Also, am I right that the blades are supposed to be held loosely in the blade grips ie. the locknut is not too tight?

    Thanks

Depends on your flying style... certainly carbon is more torsionally rigid for full-on 3D stuff...

However wooden blades are great for general flying and hovering though.

Regarding grips... you're on the right lines - the blade must be 'moveable' in the grips, but not so loose it flops about. The blade must easily find its running position with minimal centrifugal force on spool-up.

    Cheers - Rob

Have heard that 'woodies' are the ones to start with.
