  • BCX2 in flight

Call me sad fair enough but I got Clare to take some photo's while I posed the CX2 in flight for her, just for a bit of fun.

Anyway here are some of the results.

Now before someone asks about the fans and air conditioner, one 16" and 12" fan was given back to us after I loaned them to a friend, so there waiting to go up in the loft.

And we always keep on 16" fan and the air con' downstairs during the summer as I hate really hot days, I was built for the Poles, always have been.

Nice pics Wayne... compliments to Clare. Fair comment about the fans. I thought you were going to tell us they were 'wind simulators' to practice outdoors, indoors lol

      Looking smart!
Must have a high shutter speed on the camera as the blades in all the photos are still.
      Very nice pics anyway!

Thank you Rob, Clare says many thanks.

I did think about using the fans as wind simulators, however after getting everything nicely balanced I didn't want to risk being blown about in a tight space.....em this is so familiar

Scott cheers bud', Clare used my Canon DSLR with the flash gun, but the whole lot weighs over 2KG, so she used her Fuji S6500 for some of the others, I still have a few more to post.

The flash was kept simple on the Canon 1/60sec with the flash powered to one stop over central so to keep the images bright, as artistic composition wasn't needed for these fun shots.

I as you was amazed the rotas were that clear, but remember the flash was timed with the shutter so the available light was a split second within the 1/60 sec shutter speed, so this alone has singled out rota detail in a kind of strobe effect.

As for the Teddies, Clare collects Me To You and Forever Friends Bears, the big one in the corner was one of the pressies I brought her last Xmas as was the FF Ted sitting at its feet.

That is nothing mate, you should see our bedroom, her collection of bears has almost forced us to buy a larger house. lol.

Are! another man who suffers with a Bear invasion as well.

You have my sympathies my good chap, do you know, god forbid we have a house fire, the plan is to save the Teddies before anything else.

At least it'll be a soft landing when we can finally jump from the bedroom window.

LOL, yea mate, if it happened, and I had a larger heli' she'd get me to airlift the bears to safety.

I wouldn't mind but if you adding the value of all her bears as many are limited editions, that would cover the cost of an Align gas powered chopper with every bell & whistle known to man

I tell her one day I'll have a huge Bear-be-que and have the feast of a life time, of course death threats come thick and fast.

They will believe when you upgrade from Grlfrnd to Wife the collection will expand out of all proportion. This will also constrict the available space to store helis and the funds available to repair them..... Will it stop the unabated collection of furry clutter??? no way..... Ainy mention of 2 many bears and all hell breaks loose until you have been out and got another one to stop the water works, cold sholders, icy glowers, 'Headaches', and all manner of other low level disruption that prevents the flying or building of helicopters....

                      Thanks guy's

It's nice to know there are others in the same boat.

23 flights now and one near crash outside, that'll teach me.
