hi all, any one know the best muffler to get to quiet down my raptor 50 i have just bought as it is very load.also what sort of flying duration times do you get on a full tank when hovering cheers

the zimmerman exhausts were found to be the quietest in our club trails a few years back
not having own a raptor 50 i would say on average just hovering you will get 8 to 10 mins per tank on most 50 size helis

If you want quiet a zimmerman is probably the best bet. You will probably get 10-12 mins flight time.

I expect you have the standard Thunder Tiger muffler which can sound bit harsh, the Zimmerman pipe is quiet and also the later Curtis Youngblood Muscle pipes.
You should get around 10 minutes hovering around, this may vary slightly, depends on the head speed you are running.

Interesting info - not meaning to hijack but my Raptor 30 gets over 22mins flight on full tank + header tank, hovering and basic circuits - didn't realise there was that much difference!

If you're just learning and hovering about at circa 1600rpm head speed then you'll get up to 15 minutes flying time. The engine will be hardly above 2/3rds throttle if at all.

              yeah easily 15 mins hovering

muffler - zimmerman defo the best for noise and also easier to tune than the CY ones
