Have a look on Phoenixtech's website, 3 cyclic servos, 1 tail servo, Motor - depends if you want to buy once, Scorpion are very good - there are a couple suggested on PT website. Their 45A esc is a good buy as is the GT9 gyro, not sure what supply is like atm.
Otherwise have a look on the big fish and see what they recommend - it will cost less for sure but be as good?????
There will be plenty of other suggestions I'm sure so take your time and make an educated choice.
    Good luck with it

hi cant comment on the heli as i have not come accross that clone before, there are plenty out there, Copter X and phoenixtech also do good 450 clones

Servos - you will need 3x the same for the cyclic Hitec HS65's are good of if you prefer to go digital you have the choice of Align DS410 or Savox 0350
you will also need 1x tail servo, an align DS420 or Savox 0257 would be fine, or if you wish to use he next size servo up then look at an align DS520, Futaba 9650/9257 or JR 3500g

click the link in my sig for the savox servos, or i do have a 9257 and 3500g for sale

Motor - either a Align 450 motor or a version from Scorpion / turnigy, phoenixtech aso do a 450 size motor

ESC - you will need a ESC of around 35-45Amps prefeably with soft start

Gyro - Either a futaba 401 or Align GP750 will be fine, you could also get a Spartan Quark i the budget stretches

      your RX will be fine

as for batteries i would go for 2200mah 3 cell Turnigys from hobbyking, i dont think they can realy be beat on value for money

Get a complete Align TRex 450 Pro kit.
I've seen so many clone 450's that have had to be upgraded to Align TRex parts and the cost just goes up and up trying to get it right.
You end up with more or less a TRex because of all the new parts added but end up spending more than you would have on a new 450Pro kit.

The Align TRex Pro kit with motor esc, servos and gyro will perform as well as you will ever want it at your stage of flying.
Anything else to save some money will just hamper your progress.

Either the 450 Pro or the newer 450Pro 3GX flybarless.

You are on your own with that supplier. They look good and it will be useful for you to tell us what you think. You can use a cheap servo ,£10, if you fly only when its warm and in rate mode. Even then you may need to take it apart and secure the circuit board with glue. Cheap servos seem to be ok. TowerPro Mg90s for about £6, otherwise Hitecs are very good, either metal or karbonite. (mg or hb suffix). I think the answer is to go with Phoenixtech throughout. Some people have had problems with some Align cyclic servos on 6V.

Quality is very hit and miss I'm afraid. (The exception in my experience is Align mechanical which is very good).Test as much as you can without flying. Undo all bolts into metal and apply loctite. Once built get someone to check the heli with your tx. A badly setup heli is very difficult to fly for a beginner.

To be honest youre better off buying a genuine 2nd hand RTF pro. If you pay £70 for that model, £50 for a gyro, £35 motor & esc, £30 cyclic servos, £25 tail servo, a couple of lipos for £40, you've shelled out £250 which is what you'll pay for a decent Align 450 Pro.

It's a useful learning tool to build it from scratch so I'd suggest stripping it down when it arrives and re-assembling it, that way you know evrything's tight and you'll have had a headstart cause you'll have taken it to bits.

I bought my 450 pro from that seller and found no quality issues to mention. Fitted it out with with Towerpro MG90s servos on the cyclics (Brilliant servos for the money) and went for a Spartan DS760 with a Futaba s9257 servo on the tail.
The finished heli flies very well and can happily say I've been very pleased with it

I also believe Stevek32 on here bought the SE from the same seller, so might be worth dropping him a pm to see how he got on with that.

If you do get a motor like a scorpion.... you may as well spend more on everything else. No point putting a scorpion in to then use lesser quality components everywhere else. Too often you see people fitting scorpion motors then using crappy batteries esc's, servos. The idea of a scorpion is to optimize the performance of the heli.... so you will need top quality batteries and everything else. Otherwise there is just no point..... kind of like people that spend big bucks on hifi speakers.... to then use poor quality players, amps and cables.

That price is really good. Good to see a quality supplier. Looks like I should have bought one. I've just spent £30 for a good canopy and fibreglass frame. Spares are expensive though compared to a complete package. Don't quite follow the writing on the canopy though? At least some bits of my clone are Trex.

It might be very good. The only problem with an unknown heli is checking it all out. There are lots of ways of getting cheap parts or you can fit Align if you want.

My mate bought his last heli on ebay.. I went to collect it, very nice chap indeed and seems very genuine. I don't think you'll have any problems there. He showed me the heli you just bought and it looked like new.

                          Congrats on the purchase.

PS.. it's not a genuine Align head but definitely a good quality one though.

My recommendations would be as follows.

                          1. Remove the blade grips and feathering shaft and replace the feathering shaft with a genuine Align one. The clone feathering shafts often have mild steels blade grip bolts so have been known to sheer during flight. Not only is this incredibly dangerous, it will smash your heli if a main blade comes off.

The Genuine Align feathering shaft comes supplied with high tensile bolts.

Feathering Shaft HS1251 - Align T-Rex Spares align trex 450 V2 - ALIGN-TREX.co.uk, Specialist supplier of kits and spares in RC Helicopters

                          2. If you have the small black twin rubber ring dampers, I would recommend fitting some Trueblood or KDS single piece dampers.

                          Hope that helps
