For anyone thinking of this TX the RX's are on offer for triple packs at around £100! Just picked up three optima 7's from Midland Heli's for £106

that's good to know, not much more than the 6 channel rx's

Also if you can afford it invest in the HP-22 Interface so you can update the Transmitter, Spectra Module & Rx's as the latest firmware allows you to receive Rx battery voltage

thanks guys, i might just need some help pretty soon, taking the heli out tomorrow and try and bind it, see if i've set it up ok, also got some crows to shoot so might see what they think of the trex...

Don't you want to bind it, check your setup, THEN take it out?

funnily enough, it came already bound to the rx, i did check and re do it just in case, had to reverse one of the servos as it was doing very funny things, anyhow, now charging, think i've got everything for now, had some fun trying to find out how to set up throttle hold, but tom from pegasus did that when i popped into the shop, while he was at it he set up a throttle speed switch so i can adjust the head speed in hover, now going to play with the expo a bit before i wind her up, fingers crossed ha ha!

ouch! that was an expensive mistake, hmmmm, back to the shop with it all, i think i might have done something wrong.
where to start!
plugged all the leads into the rx, all numbered so as not to get them mixed up, turn her on and the swash is all over the place, now the flight mode is mode 2, so throttle & rudder lh stick, ail & pitch rh stick, however when i tested it looked like i had throttle on the right and god knows on the left stick, reversed the aileron and seemed to settle, then wound her up but she wouldn't shut down, even with both throttle holds? god knows what i've done, i'm damn sure i put the servo leads in the same channel numbers, and made sure i was in mode 2. OOPS!

well, if i reverse the pitch then the throttle works as it should, but the aileron is reversed, when i reverse either of the two forward servos in any sequence the it all goes to pot and the swash is on the huh, and the rudder moves when i increase throttle. to be honest i'm not in the mood to fiddle with it any more at the moment, probably something simple like two of the plugs crossed over, i'd have thought that they would go straight in with no change from a futaba to a hitech tho, my head hurts!!!
