  • decided to stick with it.

hi the other day i went for a shop to get a phenix sim a 120sr and dx6i.
i have had a s107 3ch which is too easy so wanted 4 ch,i had a been flying the 120sr on standard tx for a few days now and love it so decided to keep the other stuff i brought,so today i opened the dx6i and used it for about 30mins.I found using the dx6i my flying is much better and controlled also seems easier. These helis are very addictive so won a msr and mcx on flea bay to add to my indoor fun.Going to use the sim now for the first time any tips i need for using the sim?

Take it seriously for a set period of time each time you have a go, if you crash put a fine in a money-box or something. That way you will be saving up for your next Heli or whatever; after that time give yourself some time to have fun and generally mess about - this time no fine.
This way you will learn one hell of a lot more than by just 'having a go'.
    Hope this helps you

Try using one of the larger helis. Or better still, try the Easy-fly 50 listed under trainer.

You could also try adding some expo, either to an individual model in Phoenix or a general overall setting in your TX.

try holding your tx a bit lower not in front of your chest hold it so its flater not vertical you will find it easier to use and you wont be moving your tx about as much other than that its practice as much as you can
