[QUOTE=LadyRc;714851]I'd recommend an mcx2, this was my first heli. As a beginner you need more room for the 120sr so may not be great for indoors. The mcx2 is a good size and very stable.
i agree here if your a total beginner go with mcx2 then move up to a 120 later

I basically learnt to fly with my 120sr, and dx6i,a descent tranny helps alot.Fingers crossed not crashed yet,its been a valuble training aid for me,and im sure it will be around for a while.Cp for me next, which one i dont know, maybe bigger and better.
        Good luck anyway.

Heh, this thread brings back some great memories, and it's good to see the hobby has come so far since the days when a coax was the best heli to get for your first go. Now I see 4/6 ch micros being touted. Man I been out of this too long.

I'd go with the small helis these guys are recommending nowadays too. Some of the tiny indoor flyers are just as much fun now as the bigger stuff and when learning as has been said are more surviveable and cheaper to repair when they do go in, and they will.
