  • CA Glue Question

    Hi Guys, I am in the middle of build my trex 550e v2 and i have come to the tail section where it was asking me to CA the bearing on the torque tube. Will normal off the shelf super glue work?
    Jr forza 700 - one mean machine!lol
    Logo 600sx v2- the big boy
    Trex 550l- crazyness
    Optim 80cp- Just amazing!
    All using Neos with Vbar control

    Sure will :-) CA is super glue, Just dont use like "pound land" special superglue

      lol. Thats great! Think i got some good stuff in my msr case. Broke the skids once and the super glue just worked like magic!lol. Thanks for you help. Any idea where I can get tread lock from?

          your local motor factors will sell thread lock alot cheaper than model shopt and you get a much bigger bottle. But tbh little bottles will last you years. i just use threadlock the blue one. maplins etc will also sell it as will B&Q if your looking for some where local

            I find with CA it's not worth buying big bottles, it only goes off.

            Then again after moving from Zap to Grip CA it still is like new and works great.

            Actually my Zap epoxy also didn't last long either!

              I have found the Best CA so far to be ScrewFix no nonsence, you get a 50g bottle and a Can of kicker for about £5 it lasts for ages and the bottle does not seem to gum up, i have had my last bottle about 10 months now and its still as good as day 1 :-)

                It rymes with ZAP ! yes zap bottles are very poor
