  • Series of Setup Articles

I havecopy of RotorWorld magazine (issue 57) and ithas a good article "HelicopterSetup Part 6 Tackling the Demon" by Mike Williamson.
Does anybody have the other parts of this article they could share.
Writtenvery clearly ... and as I am building my first Heli would love to read theother parts of the series.

If you have an iPhone/iPad they have an app that you can buy back issues.

I don't have any Apple products.
Hoping someone may have them scanned, or happy to pay photocopy
      charges.

Maybe someone can lend the magazines to you, but photocopying or scanning the articles would be in breach of the copyright.

In short, they want you to pay for the magazines to get the articles which is rather the point of their existence

I appreciate your comment ... although the reason a lot of people buy mags is for currents ads, and to buy 7+ magzines that are now out of date would be a tad wasteful.

I'd happliy buy reprint of article though.

I'm pretty confident that you'll find all the advice you need in the 'Beginners' and 'Setup Advice' forums on this website, and it's all free.

This forum has been superb with it's help ... no denying that at all.

As I'm coming to latter part of my build where I will be setting up servos and what they operate mechanically, and then programming Tx etc.
Thought it would be good to have a 'grounding' of what to do in what sequence the article I mentioned seemed very very written.

If you think I would be better reading something else, be happy to do so ... anything specific you recommend ? ..
I have never built any mdoel ... and my first attempt is a TT X50.

HeliFreak. Everyone copies Finless Bob so you may as well get it first hand rather than re-written

Setup doesn't have to be a huge problem. To do it perfectly like Finless is difficult. But you can get reasonable setup by just doing the basics and following the instructions with your kit. Just do it one step at a time. Having a vernier is handy and a pitch gauge and something to balance blades with. And Loctite... If you have a problem just ask and take a photo. It might be a stupid question or it might be something that doesn't quite work and needs some mods. Instructions are often wrong as well, so if it looks wrong, it may well be.
