i have been into monster trucks and truggy racing for a fair few years but got a little bored with only been able to go forward, left and right if you know what i mean.
Anyway i bought myself a raptor 30 v1 quite cheap. after stripping it all down replacing worn parts and installing a better gyro (gy401) and a better tail servo (jr 8900g), cleaning the carb and engine and with new fuel and a tuneup she if hovering nicely.
Q 1. Whilst hovering at 1/2 stick she holds great but if i give her a little more throttle she starts to yaw the more throttle i give the more she yaws even in hh mode. I am using an xp652 tx with only 3x pitch and throttle curves, most explanations give it in 5x pitch and throttle curves.
Q 2. i had my pitch curve setup as follows low stick - 0, half stick 5 and full stick 9
throttle curve is low stick 5, half stick 50 and full stick 100. the only change i have made is on my pitch on the low stick to -2 as i have read that even though being great for beginners like myself the pitch being at 0 on the low stick if a gust of wind came along i would struggle to land hence me adjusting it to -2. Does this sund ok?
