  • Unusual swash action T Rex 600E

    I am having a problem with my swash plate/ left aileron servo
    in normal throttle my heli flys great tracks true and responds to all inputs
    when i flick into idle up 1 i notice the left aileron servo moves up a fraction (2 mm ) and also if i then flick throttle hold on still in idle up it moves upwards the same again ?
    this first came to my notice on my first flight yestarday when whilst inverted in idle 1 my heli needed a slight right stick input to keep it level ? my last flight a week ago this problem was not there at all
    my set up is Align BL 600 motor Hobbywing 100a platinum pro ESC, DX 7 RX AR 7600
    using thunder power 5000 lipo·s running idle up 1 and 2 at a flat 85 %
    PS i have tried swaping the 2 aileron servos around on the RX but the problem is still there

      Trims on a DX7 are stored for each mode, normal, Idle up. Maybe you have different trim settings in each mode.
      You can switch them to be the same trim in each mode, think it's in the switch on while holding down keys menu.

        I AGREE. sounds like you have trim settings different in idleup modes as stated above..

          Um, my dx7 is different for each flight mode, will see if I can change that then :-)

              turn tx on in normal mode and make sure all trims are centred, then flick into idle 1and repeat then idle 2 and repeat, caught me out this one before

                  When you go into idle up the trims are different unless you adjust them, there is a setting you can change so that the trims will be the same across all flight modes

                    serious about what?
                    On the dx7 you have to induvidually change each trim setting for normal, idle1 & idle 2, ie if you set 2 clicks elevator on normal when you flick into idle 1 or2 they wont be the same unlesss you set them all the same.

                      So right you have to trim in all modes.I was thinking you could set something in the radio so that if you trimmed in normal it would change the idle 1 and 2 the same.

                      Anyone?

                        Maybe you can i just never found it, would be better for me, but i use this function on my 500, as i have different weight batteries, so i trim it in idle 1 for the lighter battery and then idle has a different trim setting for the heavier batteries, usally 2 clicks down on elevator.
