  • My first Heli!!

Today i just bought a brand new heli for my first time flying. I went to penn models who were a big help and even gave me a few spares totalling up to £30 for FREE!! I bought an elite flight cx2 heli which i think looks the part, but unfortunatly i still unable to fly as good as some experts! Hopefully though by the end of the day and a few hours on a simulator i should be able to fly this MEAN MACHINE and hopefully get my hands on a piece of kit like some of you pros have on here !!!! Also i have been offered the FSone simulator which looks the part all for a great price !! Id just like to say thankyou to penn models, dudley for there great service and what i saw as 'Friendly advice'!
If you ain't got nothin nice to say. Don't say Nothin!

    Hi,
I know not what this Elite Flight cx2 is. But sounds as if you are happy :-) You never mentioned what you paid for this heli. Someone on this forum will be able to let you know the goods and bads. There are always goods and bads, whatever heli.

Total price of the Elite CX2 was 130 pound which i thought was good as it came with everything like the transmitter, batteries, servos.... everything you need to fly basically. Bearing in mind i also got 2 pairs of main upper blades (5.99), 2 sets of Main lower blades (5.99) and a battery (17.99) All together shoul of been 160 pound!!! Soon i will be able to atleast hover and will post pictures on the gallery! Also below i will show you a link to the site which will show you the Heli i have bought!!! Also i will add a link to the CX2 flying!

video and Info http://www.e-fliterc.com/ (bottom half of the page named blade CX2 is the video and on the right hand side of the page will show you the info of the heli!!)

I was out today with my T-Rex 600 a few other fliers, and a guy there had a Blade CX2. They're great - very stable, and he was flying his in a gentle breeze. Don't go too far away with it, the 2.4GHz radio as supplied is only good for short-ish range. Don't hurtle along either then apply full back cyclic or the blades hit eachother... as we found out

            Cheers - Rob
